Beautiful Othilia Simon (Silent) after the Fall 2012 Marc by Marc Jacobs Show
It’s ok to be young, to be naive, to shop also, to gaze, and to blush (around male models). Outside Y3.

Sui He (New York Models) leaves Richard Chai FW12
G-o-r-g-e-o-u-s. She’s so adorable but she can pull off so many looks.
Check out “Sui He’s Chic” video of her by models.com and Kloss London from this season. She was on W Magazine’s Cover this past November by Max Vadakuhl and Ai Wei Wei among her many editorials, campaigns (Lane Bryant with the other Chinese models), and shows. I like to visit this blog to stay updated with my asian models! http://asianmodelsblog.blogspot.com Sui is ranked #19 at models.com See her page here.
Watching Costello Tagliapietra
I think I’m going to shoot more people watching the shows using lights from the shows. It would be an interesting project. As tiring as it may get with 300+ shows just in New York, it’s always still very exciting to see the amount of work that has gone into a collection and show. One thing I learned is that it’s okay to get excited about fashion. Stay professional but we’re all in this industry because we love it.
Tanya Dziahileva @ WOMEN (NY)
I would have liked to stop her but she was walking 62nd street as her runway and looked like she had just walked out of an editorial… Her style is a nice change from typical model style of black skinny jeans and slim outfits. She looks like she could be a style editor with a model face and body. She was too tall to even fit in my frame. Her face is so so strong, I feel like I have seen her a ton everywhere but am surprised she’s not in the Top 50.. soon, hopefully. [Update: she’s huge! Been in the industry for a while!] FYI That was the day Zelda Kaplan died but that ambulance was actually for a man an hour before. Anyway, I keep on looking back at Tanya and just going WOW!
New York Fashion week is basically over. I learned a lot and have gained so much respect for other photographers, models, etc. The week was very inspiring but also draining. Here’s just a candid fan girl photo of Maud and Katlin and others at Lincoln Center. There’s always new models to learn. I also felt bad taking their photo near the end because it must be tiring and annoying after a while.
Modeling is soooo hard ;) - Backstage at General Idea (liked the show, haven’t seen a lot of menswear and I wanted to wear it! Fun! Sporty! Cool!)
See some more backstage shots here which I assisted Kristiina Wilson for.
That hair … that collar …
(Check Christina’s blog out: Trop Rouge)
Whitney Port always looks so polished and classically beautiful - leaving the shows this afternoon on Day 3 of NYFW FW12.
