Model Style: Crystal Renn - Of The Minute

I’m going to be shooting some “real”/everyday model street style for models.com now. Can’t wait. I’m excited. : ) My first post is the wonderful Crystal Renn who I bumped into after a shoot in Soho in Friday. Click above to see what she is wearing. Kerrin is braving the snow this New York Fashion week in her vintage fur coat and vintage leather leggings with boots by Strategia. Vintage is her game the style blogger explains. “I actually sell on ebay. I’ve sold anything from Isabel Marant shoes to a vintage bike” she tells The Inside Source. “The best thing I’ve ever found on Ebay is a $4 link pink pom pom from Korean that I put on my Alexander Wang bag”. Oh, and just in case you think she’s all vintage, note the adorable new Chanel bag she wears with pride.

I have not knowingly shot Kerry before this season but I think she’s an underrated street style star (but really just always stylish who doesn’t necessarily dress and search for the camera ;) ) - look out for her!

It’s a bit cold for this outfit now but I think you could change the shorts into long pants and perhaps wear a darker stripes shirt. I’m a big fan of blazer/suits, blue, and nautical stripes. She put together everything I love and her shoes are gorgeous. It’s hard to go wrong with a Balenciaga heel.

Can’t wait to see what she wears next!

I saw Elizabeth at the Veda SS13 presentation at the gorgeous Bowery Hotel. I love her simple long black dress cinched at the waist with floral prints at the bottom and top! It’s a perfect balance of something dark and New York-y with a feminism bright floral touch! She’s based in Los Angeles so I like how the two city’s styles combine.

Lucy Chen on Lafayette Street, Soho

I bumped into one of my friends Lucy outside of one of my favorite coffee shops La Colombe Soho today. She looked pretty cool and relaxed on a Sunday wearing what I always love: black, and reading the New Yorker. Denim jacket from Gap in the sixth grade, black sports sweatshirt, UNIQLO jeans, Doc Marten shoes, and Cheap Monday sunglasses. I love how she breaks up the black with some brown boots and denim.  Last time I checked, she was really into Givenchy Rouge Allure lipstick but this time she’s wearing something different but still similar and dark - Chanel Antigua. Love it!
