I shot 11-year-old designer artist/illustrator/designer Melissa “Missy” Aiello last weekend in Fort Greene. We went to the Brooklyn Flea, where Missy showed me some of her favorite designers (Mama Can’t Sing- rings with Scrabble letters on them, etc), ate lunch at Kif, and then had some fun at the park nearby! Missy is very talented and has been featured/will be featured in Hunger Magazine, Rollacoaster Magazine/TV, and more. Karl Lagerfeld has one of her bags! She enjoys drawing and loves Anna Wintour. She sells t-shirts and tote bags here of her favorite fashion icons. We talked about how difficult it is to draw Donatella Versace! Can’t wait to see more from this girl. She knows way more than me when I was her age! http://www.teesbymissyx.com/

Wouldn’t it be nice? Some snapshots of kids.
All at the Guggenheim except the last one (Lord & Taylor)
Baby, dog, dog
8th Avenue in the West Village
- I highly suggest checking out Left Bank Books and grabbing a bite to eat at La Bonbonniere (cash only) afterwards!
Two Violins, Washington Square Park
His own Washington Square Park - the weather was great today - November 19, 2011 - www.thenycstreets.com
Not the best photos but this family is so dapper and cute. Love the little boy and how the sister and mother are dressed similarly in red (love, love, LOVE red). I guess they were shopping for a gift at JC Penney (we have those in Manhattan?) - Union Square
