DetailsxCFDA Men’s Project - The Weekender
Details Magazine and the CFDA have come together for second year in a row to create a set of 20 unique duffle bags with menswear designers like Richard Chai, Billy Reid, Marc Jacobs, and many more.
I am thankful to be able to give you an exclusive sneak peek at five of my favorite bags: 1. Todd Snyder, 2. Robert Geller, 3. Tommy Hilfiger, 4. Duckie Brown, and 5. Billy Reid - it was definitely hard to choose. I’m impressed by how each designer recreated the classic Army/Navy bag.
The bags will go on sale on Ebay on June 10 and all proceeds will go to the CFDA Foundation which supports emerging designers.
For more information, check the @Details, @CFDA, and @eBayFashion Twitter accounts and follow the #DetailsxCFDA hashtag.
Happy bidding!

Street Style: What to Wear With Nike Flyknits
I have been hoping to photograph men in cool sneakers like Nike Flynknits or Weaves (I see Tommy Ton wear them, hehe) lately and I’m so glad I bumped into Justin Keller, wholesale manager at Shipley & Halmos on lunch break. I was hoping I’d bump into some of the employees at S&H because they’re based in Soho, New York, I’ve shot designer Sam Shipley before, and I hear about them all the time. “East Coast meets West Coast” is a great way to describe them - super wearable, and quirky, simple, but fun to me. I love it. Anyway, I love that Justin isn’t wearing the neon colors like other guys do. White pops but isn’t too ostentatious. I did photograph another guy in the neon green/yellow ones though (and I saw another guy who was a bit of a rush — or rude?). Anyway Justin is super nice and talkable. His cuffed denim is sweet along with his super button-y Paul Smith jacket. That hair too. Thanks Justin. Click the link above to see the details on what he is wearing. Love his Rolex Datejust (I believe from his father). He’s working the man jewelry/bracelets too. Sometimes I photograph employees at Marc Jacobs and they happen to be decked out in Marc Jacobs. They look great. But it’s nice to see people who work at a fashion line wearing various brands, too : )
Check out Shipley & Halmos.
Have a great weekend!
