I’m not sure what these tops are called. Her bag is from Madrid. I took this over the summer. Ali is from New York City. She is now in her first year studying art at Oberlin College in Ohio.

I took this over the summer. Ali is from New York City. She is now in her first year studying art at Oberlin College in Ohio.

Here are some photographs from my Hurricane Sandy experience.

I am thankful that only power and cell phone service went out for a few days.

These are photos from when my power went out and I went for a walk in the East Village.

There are still many people in need in Far Rockaway, Staten Island, the Jersey Shore, Caribbean, etc. 

Here is a list from WNYC with many ways to help.

I have some street style photo and photos of different “closed” signs, damp sparse New York before Sandy, and New Yorkers  in huge lines for their coffees but I would like to try and keep this at the top of my blog for a little while.
