Beautiful Kendra Spears (Next Models) outside the tents NYFW FW12

Kendra has a great smile and personality. I think she’s got an all-American feel on the outside but then you see her work and how much of a great model she is. I really love her classic look in the Emporio Armani S/S 12 campaign (click to see) but especially in the “Two for the Road” editorial by Will Davidson in the September 2011 issue of Harper’s Bazaar Australia with Karlie Kloss on the cover. See the story here. I’m so glad I have a copy of the magazine! I think she exudes a versatile, timeless beauty here. She’s also got a sleek, sexy side to her recent editorial “Autofocus” by Rene Habermacher in Numero May 2012. Kendra has the personality and the looks and I’m sure she’s here to stay. I love Jacquelyn’s smile! I think she’s quite versatile. Off the runway, you just want to be her friend then you see her on runways and in ads over the world and you’re just seduced by her look and what she’s wearing.  See her models.com profile here (#18).

Marc by Marc Jacobs is also one of those collections that you LOVE when you start learning about fashion because it’s so wearable. I can usually tell the models they’ll cast and I’m pleased. I really liked the clean red lipstick Shiseido/Dick Page did this year. See what she wore in the show here, she went red!

New York Fashion week is basically over. I learned a lot and have gained so much respect for other photographers, models, etc. The week was very inspiring but also draining. Here’s just a candid fan girl photo of Maud and Katlin and others at Lincoln Center. There’s always new models to learn. I also felt bad taking their photo near the end because it must be tiring and annoying after a while. 

Swedish model Tilda Lindstam (IMG) is “pissed!” and unafraid to show her true style.  Hanneli was photographing her after a show (Herve Leger, I believe) so I’m sure she will post the photo. Tilda has been photographed a lot wearing denim and leather jackets as you can see here and here - I wonder if she just added a few patches this season? Or it was just a great vintage find (must go shopping in Sweden!). I’m glad she can take on many styles. If she’s ever not in the mood for street snappin’ (never) she can just point to her sleeves!

I’ve seen Claire Courtin-Clarins wear one and Miroslava Duma has one too (identified via her feature on The Coveteur).
