I photographed a woman wearing a @Prada SS13 coat in the Meatpacking District this weekend (silk, not sure if it’s a runway piece exactly but obviously very similar). It was cool to see it on a “real person” not just someone at fashion week. I also photographed some children’s fashion shows which was a really interesting experience. I wonder if this jacket is Prada inspired!

1. Making of Valentino SS12 Ad with Photographer Deborah Turbeville, Models Fei Fei Sun, Zuzanna Bijoch, Maud Welzen, Clement Chabernaud, Bette Franke

- I am obsessed with this and the campaign! I keep on forgetting it’s a “making of’ film, I think it could almost stand alone as the campaign film if Valentino wanted to start making them. I’m curious who directed it and composed the music. The girl’s poses are so soft and perfect - I love how it is about the fleeting moments and this comes across in the photos as well. Deborah Turbeville is an amazing photographer. I want to work for her. I love the casting - beautiful, clean faces, a nice asian girl taking the lead subtly - love Fei Fei’s last glance and smile. Zuzanna looks really great, in most runways I feel like she has a more defined face than Maud and Bette who are very soft, Dutch, blonde (maybe it’s just because she’s brunette) but the makeup, hair, and styling here is great and the girls all flow together but look great individually. This succeeds - I want to be a Valentino girl/woman. I literally listen to this everyday if I need relax or focus.
