Margaret Williams in @kenzo_paris - Spring and Winter
Above photo: Afer Veda SS13. I love her smile — I think this is a nice balance of mixing highs and lows - her top is Forever 21, her skirt is Kenzo, and her clutch is American Apparel.  Kenzo’s patterns have been really catching my mind lately! It’s a bit cold to be wearing these colors but I actually photographed her candidly FW12/February and she pulled off bright prints as well! (photo below) Think she also had an AA clutch back then but maybe personalized it. I didn’t know who she was then and had a feeling I knew who she was above — it didn’t click until later in the week and I was so excited! I don’t have her contact information so I can’t send it to her but I believe she is a fashion writer/editor.
Thanks Margaret!

@CaroIssa @TankMagazine @BecauseMagazine Caroline Issa one of my favorite women to shoot and one of my first style inspirations at NYFW SS13

She is also in J.Crew ads right now. Amazing!

I know it is summer now but this is Laura in Tribeca (West Broadway) I love her purple printed pants, clean white top, and pink cardigan.

Annique on Howard Street
Coat - Agnes B
Sleeveless Dress/Skirt: Lilith
Scarf - NAU
Clogs - Dansko
Wish I knew her scarf too.
I’m not a big fan of style blogs that seem to list off an outfit’s brand names and such but I LOVE THIS. This makes me want to study fashion and know all the brands, fashion houses, techniques, etc.
It reminds me of Dries Van Noten a bit. He was the first designer to get me into prints. Perfect amount of print … her coat is look like they projected a photograph onto it. Love it! I know she’s not trying to be trendy but herself and cool. She’s had the Agnes B skirt for a while.
I caught her at a weird moment, before crossing the street and leaving nice light so this encounter was quite quick. Still so worth it!
PS: Thanks random person who knew Annique and messaged me the correct  spellings. Small world!
