Weekend-Wear II: Stripes I’ve seen this shirt somewhere … I always love the classic nautical top but I need to mix it up with a dash of red. See the red in my previous post? Red always makes me feel happy and bold. I also really liked the fact that the unrelated woman in front of her was wearing similar stripes as well! A cool simple bike neutral ”Street Style” snapshot off Astor Place the other day  I didn’t even see her bow tie scarf/neckwear until afterwards - awesome I just like how simple this is - I love beige and gray on people and primary colors on (vintage) bikes! I think I’ve said this a lot but I detest the ostentatiousness of “fashion” sometimes. I just like clothes. I like to study what people wear, present people of New York, and hopefully flatter them a bit and make them happy! Etc, etc, etc. The best is when someone is comfortable with themselves and what they wear because it makes them happy - confident - literally comfortable - and they walk around and have a good day : ) Her bag reminds me this Chloe bag but isn’t quite it. I’m sure the one she has is more affordable (?). If anybody knows who it is by, let me know!  - M. May 2012
