Here’s a fashion plate who The Inside Source coincidentally snapped at Art Basel 2012 also. This snowy Fashion Week in New York, we spotted her wearing Kuboraum sunglasses, a Dell Plummer necklace, and dress by Lucia Cuba — topped off with Marsell shoes and a fur clutch. “I usually search for Comme des Garcons and Yohji Yamamoto on eBay” says the fashion writer for www.le-report.com. “I wanted the Yohji mountain hat in black and only found it in brown”. Keep searching Lily! It’ll come back around again on eBay. It always does. 

January 2013 Europe Wrap Up

It’s February 5. I start shooting NYFW tomorrow. I don’t think I ever did a wrap up of my trip to Europe last month. I went to Pitti Uomo, Milan Fashion Week (Mens FW13), and Paris Fashion Week (Mens FW13) for Details.com. I also stayed after to Womens Haute Couture SS13. I shot women for City Magazine and FabSugar.com and men for Footwear Plus Magazine. I just had an interview/feature on Dossier Journal (mens). I’ve hyperlinked those URLs so click to see my stories. I’ll be shooting for City Magazine backstage and on the street for NYFW and more to come : )

I’d like this post to be more visual of course but I’m still comprehended what I did last month. I’m thankful to do NYFW FW13 again and Paris Womens Ready To Wear SS13 in a few weeks. Maybe I will do the whole month in September. Not sure.

This is definitely one of my favorite Fashion Week photos because we happened to be walking to the show from the East Village and I got to shoot him in a different environment. It’s a really nice breather and I wanted to wait until after the shows to post it. I need focus on school and other real-world tasks but this image is one that actually captures what I want and inspires me to shoot more.
