Street Style: Art Basel
Meet Zuzanna Buchwald, a super babe (and super art dealer) out of New York City. Zuzanna looks perfectly poised to sell tons of work with this eclectic and fashionable outfit. Here, it’s all about the accessories. Zuzanna is sporting a vintage jacket she found in Singapore, a pair of vintage Swedish frames, colorful booties by Miista, and a clutch by DVF. When digging through the eBay archives, she searches for unusual items, like a hologram clutch to match a pair of hologram shoes. Can’t wait to see that outfit at the next Art Basel!

Lovely Jade Tseng in an amazing vintage jacket outside MoMA PS1: Warm Up in Long Island City yesterday. I feel like I have seen this jacket or similar styles at thrift stores but I’d never make it look this good. I love that it’s oversized. Her cool, drape-y dress and bag are vintage as well. Her shoe sare Vans (staying real at a concert).

Please check out my Swim Street Style story for Refinery29! Click here or the image.
It was super fun to shoot. I went to The Hamptons/Montauk, Rockaway Beach, Coney Island, and Modellounge x Microsoft Model Summer Hangout at the Gansevoort Hotel.
I really tried to get as much diversity in body sizes, ethnicity, occupations, etc. I was happily surprised that most people were flattered and happy to have their photo taken. I’m so happy they were so confident, hopefully it will inspire you and me to be as well : )
Anyway above is SiLyA (Silya Nymeon) a Norwegian singer living in Brooklyn. She had so energy. She had gotten her vintage swimming suit the day before from “Ricky who looks like a pirate” at Artists & Fleas in Brooklyn. He picked it out specifically for her. Also her sunglasses are from “H-f*cking-M!” It’s not about the brands you wear but how you wear it! Anyway, SiLyA’s music is great — check it out here: www.silya.com

Florence Provencher outside the MAN Show at Industria Studios yesterday in the West village

Florence was helping out her boyfriend who works at La Rose Paris, a hat line. I really suggest checking out the MAN show. It’s a cross between art and fashion. Today is the last day.

Florence is wearing:

Hat: La Rose Paris

Top: Vintage

Pants: Indigo - thrifted?

Shoes: Thrifted

Backpack: her boyfriend’s (Venator)

Merci Florence!

She does a great just thrift/vintage shopping! I want to find a top like hers. I love the material of everything she is wearing, comfortable, cool, unique. A bit bohemian. Nice hair and hat helps as well! She’s also got the whole crop top thing going on, modestly. Thankfully it has cooled down in New York.
