Back to the basics II - Washington Square Park
Now for the young - I like these cropped (?) pants? I like whatever material they are - cottony tweed/denim? And I like how his parents made him layer and wear so many socks and leggings :) I wonder what he was trying to see with those binoculars! I also miss velcro shoes. Frida Gustavsson was photographed wearing velcro shoes by Stockholm Streetstyle here recently (does Caroline shoot it…?) so maaybe it’ll become a trend. I love Frida’s jacket though.
Haley is a Freshman at NYU studying Photography & Imaging.
She is originally from Jupiter, Florida and has a love/hate relationship with the state - she’s excited that she moved to New York so she can dress for all the seasons! I photographed her in Washington Square Park - Thanks so much Haley! xx

The picture that made my day - Gina and Eli at Washington Square Park
Gina lives in Brooklyn and wears whatever is comfortable and good for the day. Her outfit is vintage.
Eli says his style is decadent. He lives close to the park.

- Alessandro is studying international relations (graduate) at the New School. He is originally from Franciacorta, Italy. He’s been to La Pietra in Florence where I studied for a semester for his international foundation. He speaks Italy, French, Spanish, Dutch, and English. Awesome! Good to talk to you. Piacere.
It’s the awkward time between summer and fall where it’s just cool enough to wear a jacket outside but you have to find a balance between indoor temperatures and carrying it around all day. He looks like he just threw on this jacket after class but I think the motion works for him. A good balance of being a fashion-conscious yet casual and masculine male in the city.
This lens makes the background a weird radial blur.
