Spring is back! I can post this photo from Eva at the shows from September 2012
Hat: Jennifer Behr
Dress: Proenza Schouler
Shoes: Reed Krakoff
A lovely smile from Alessandra Codinha (@ATCodinha) from @IntoTheGloss
She’s one of the first “street style start” girls I was aware of and enjoy shooting!
Obviously it’s not Spring/Summer weather but hopefully this photo will make you feel like it! I’m not sure how to describe it but I just like Alessandra’s style - always on point.
Shoes: Jason Wu
Update 5/13 — I believe she is back at WWD as an Eye Reporter again!
Eva Chen (@evachen212) “editor, writer, shopper, new yorker” on Astor Place this afternoon (night!)
It is getting cold in New York! I just did some errands today and some street style snapshots. Luckily I bumped into Eva Chen! She looks cool as usual! I swear she was just in California! Such a busy lady! But super nice.
Eva is wearing a hat from New Zealand (possum fur! hehe), jacket from Topshop, vest from Adam, a sweater from Zara mens, pants from Phillip Lim, and shoes from Isabel Marant! Her bag is Hermes of course.
I just realized I didn’t ask her anything about beauty which is one of her specialties - I’ll just focus on style for now : ) I am quite simple and like to wear black but I usually wear the same three pieces. I like the different textures Eva is wearing - she looks pretty hardcore but still super cute : ) I think it’s a perfect balance of wearing layers and New York black in the cold weather but still being super utilizable.
I just learned Eva is now freelance at Teen Vogue and Elaine Welteroth is the new Health and Beauty editor! Eva is now running all over town all the time! I kept on thinking she had just gotten off work but it was only 4/5 pm and it’s just getting quiet dark in New York now. She will probably receieve this tweet/tumblr notification before she gest home : )
Anyway Eva is a great editor and she has her own tumblr of course where you can ask her beauty, health, and fashion related questions! http://evachen212.tumblr.com/ (also linked above)
I shot her once during NYFW as well. I have yet to post that photo. I was just too excited about this one and it fits the new cold weather now. I wanted to keep photographs from Sandy at the top of my blog for a while because that is important in life as well — here’s a link to it.
Thanks so much Eva! Hope you can reblog this!
PS: This post went WAY longer than expected! I’m seeing Carine Roitfeld talk at the FIAF tonight! Sold out but there should be some standby tickets as well. Can’t wait! X

More to come!

I’m starting school and maybe turning this into a big project so we’ll see how much I post. Happy fashion week! (Old photo from Milan)
