I started taking photos on the street when I moved to New York in 2008 as a way for me to explore the city and see new places. I began posting images on the internet in June 2011 as a way for me to practice taking portraits, learn what people were wearing on the street, and continue to see the city.
Since then I have been fortunate to shoot for multiple publications and travel to the European fashion shows.
I currently contribute to Style.com, Details.com, Refinery29, models.com, and Footwear Plus Magazine.
My work has been featured in/on Vogue.com, Vogue Paris, New York Times T Magazine Blog, Harper’s Bazaar US and Arabia, Wall Street Journal Magazine, Lucky Magazine, Elle Magazine, Marie Claire, Business of Fashion, Instyle Germany, People Style Watch, Esquire Korea, NylonMag.com, Nylon Korea, Company Magazine, Haibao, Open Skies (Emirate Airlines), MSN Glo, and more.
I’ve worked with brands such as: J.W. Anderson, Topshop, Gucci, Saks Fifth Avenue, Nike Sportswear, and eBay Fashion’s The Inside Source.
I hope my photographs tell stories about each person and reflect the place and time they were taken. While I am knowledgeable in models, editors, and current trends in the industry, I think it is important to balance photographs from Fashion Weeks with everyday New York street style.
Ultimately, I would like shoot editorials and advertisements for magazines, and am always looking for people and brands to collaborate with.
